In 2022, the School has achieved gratifying results in its construction of the high-level scientific research platform base, with successive approval of one Anhui Provincial Engineering Research Center and three Anhui Provincial Key Laboratories of Philosophy and Social Sciences.
In October 2022, the Anhui Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the "Notice of the Anhui Provincial Development and Reform Commission on Releasing the Approval and Recognition Results of the 2022 Anhui Provincial Engineering Research Centers" (Anhui Development and Reform Innovation [2022] No. 547). The Anhui Provincial Engineering Research Center for Aerospace System Intelligent Management, applied by the School, was successfully approved for its construction. In November, the Education Working Commission of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Publicity Department of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the “Notice on the Approval of the First Batch of Anhui Provincial Key Laboratories of Philosophy and Social Sciences” (Anhui Education Working Commission Letter [2022] No. 558). The Cyberspace Behavior and Management Laboratory, the Digital Economy and Smart Enterprise Management Laboratory, and the Energy and Environment Smart Management and Green and Low-Carbon Development Laboratory were respectively approved as Anhui Provincial Key Laboratories of Philosophy and Social Sciences. This is another important achievement made by the School in the construction of the Philosophy and Social Sciences Laboratories, following the approval of the Philosophy and Social Sciences Laboratory of the Ministry of Education for Data Science and Smart Social Governance in 2021.
The Anhui Provincial Engineering Research Center for Aerospace System Intelligent Management is a major strategic deployment aimed at accelerating the development of the aerospace information industry in both China and Anhui Province. Focusing on satellite intelligent operation and control management, intelligent collaborative control of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and intelligent manufacturing system technology for aerospace high-end equipment, it carries out key technology research, and engineering verification and industrialization promotion of related scientific research achievements, and is committed to establishing an integrated platform for the transformation of achievements in industry, education, research, and application.
The Anhui Provincial Key Laboratories of Philosophy and Social Sciences fully take the School’s disciplinary advantages of deeply integrating the new generation information technology with management theory. Based on natural science research methods, they solve social science problems in fields such as cyberspace management, digital economy and smart enterprise management, energy and environment management, conduct theoretical research and advisory services in response to major national strategic needs and the economic and social development needs of Anhui Province, and commit to building experimental research bases for philosophy and social sciences and influential high-end think tanks.
The School has attached great importance to the construction of high-level research platform bases for a long time and has been approved for a series of laboratories and engineering research centers at provincial and ministerial levels, including the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education, the National-Local Joint Engineering Research Center, and the Philosophy and Social Sciences Laboratories of the Ministry of Education, etc. The successful approval of the Anhui Provincial Engineering Research Center and Anhui Provincial Laboratories of Philosophy and Social Sciences has further strengthened the scientific research platform base system of the School, and has played a positive role in promoting the School's talent cultivation, scientific research, and disciplinary construction to a new level.
