The MBA Program of Hefei University of Technology was authorized to confer a master's degree in 2003, mainly relying on the disciplines of Management Science and Engineering, and Business Administration. It is located at the MBA Management Center and at the School of Management.

The discipline aims to cultivate high-level, practical and comprehensive management talents who have ideological and moral character, professional ethics, humanistic sentiment, international perspectives, pioneering spirits, and innovative abilities, systematically master the theory, methods, and skills in business administration, and deeply understand the general laws of the market economy and the new situation of China's economic construction and social development. They are also familiar with the deep integration of Business Administration theory and methods with information technology, and are able to independently solve practical problems in Business Administration. The educational system is 3 years in length. Students who have obtained the required credits, completed their theses, and passed the thesis defense are allowed to graduate.

The learning styles consist of full-time off-job learning and part-time on-the-job learning.
