On the morning of February 28th, the School of Management at Hefei University of Technology held its first online meeting with Robert Scherer, Dean of the Michael Neidorff School of Business at Trinity University in the United States, who was the Chairman of the AACSB on-site visit. Guo Zhiyong, Secretary of the School Party Committee, Hu Xiaoxuan, Dean of the School, Fu Chao and Jiang Yuanchun, Vice Deans of the School, Niu Shanshan, Vice Secretary of the School Party Committee, Professor Liu Yezheng, and relevant teachers attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Hu Xiaoxuan warmly welcomed and sincerely thanked Chairman Robert Scherer for his participation and guidance, hoping to smoothly promote the AACSB accreditation of the School through the Chairman's guidance. Hu Xiaoxuan introduced the development process of the School and provided a detailed report on its mission, vision, AACSB accreditation process, faculty situation, intellectual contribution, and assurance of learning system.
Chairman Robert Scherer fully affirmed the AACSB accreditation work of the School and provided constructive suggestions. This meeting has played a guiding role in the subsequent accreditation work of the School. The School will actively promote AACSB accreditation according to the spirit of the meeting and fully prepare for the upcoming on-site visit.
