On the afternoon of June 11th, the School of Management held a degree awarding ceremony for the graduates of 2022. Chen Gang, Deputy Secretary of the HFUT Party Committee, relevant officials of the School, members of the Degree Evaluation Committee, representatives of teachers, representatives of students' parents, and all the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree recipients of 2022 attended the ceremony, which was presided over by Niu Shanshan, Deputy Secretary of the School Party Committee and Secretary of the School Discipline Inspection Commission.
The ceremony began with the solemn national anthem, and Dean Hu Xiaoxuan read out the "Decision on Granting Degrees to the Graduates in 2022 of the School of Management". The supervisors present presented degree certificates to degree recipients, turned tassels, and took a group photo as a souvenir.
Chen Gang, on behalf of HFUT, expressed warm congratulations and heartfelt blessings to the graduates who successfully completed their studies and obtained their degrees in his speech. He hoped that they would take firm steps, have lofty ideals, seize the time, persist in practical work and innovation, work hard, and remain calm and optimistic. He also hoped that they would bravely undertake the great cause of "rejuvenating China", let the youthful oath of "make the Party rest assured" and the ideal belief of "great China counting on me" illuminate their way forward, knock on the door to happiness, and play the youth chapter of the new era. Professor Li Xiaojian from the Department of Information Management and Information Systems, a teacher representative, and Gu Meifei from the Business Administration Class 18-1, a student representative and a winner of Anhui Province Outstanding Graduate, delivered speeches at the ceremony. Li Xiaojian congratulated the graduates, and reviewed the past, talked about the present, and looked forward to the future with them. He hoped that the graduates could continue to inherit the excellent cultural heritage of China, and through the professional foundation and thinking mode acquired during their stay at the School of Management, they would create a wonderful life in the divergent and restraint future. He wished all graduates would step on the past, seize the present, and create the future. Gu Meifei expressed his thankfulness for the cultivation of the school and teachers, as well as the companionship of his classmates. He called on the students to remember the HFUT motto of "virtue, diligence, pragmatism, and novelty", adhere to the School spirit of "diligence, rigor, practicality, and innovation", and spend youth in embarking on a sparkling journey! On the occasion of departure, he wished his alma mater eternal youth and greater glory.
The degree awarding ceremony for the graduates of 2022 of the School of Management came to an end amidst singing. The attending leaders, teachers, and parents warmly applauded all the graduates, and 538 graduates embarked on a new journey with good wishes from their alma mater, teachers, and friends.
