The Department of Business Administration of the School of Management Held a Seminar on Talent Cultivation Plans for Business Administration and Marketing Management

On July 23, 2022, the Department of Business Administration of the School of Management held a seminar on talent cultivation plans for Business Administration and Marketing Management in Conference Room 1111, No. 1 Building of the School of Management. The seminar invited 9 well-known enterprise experts, namely Li Jianhua, Deputy General Manager of Anhui Huaheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Li Yu, Director of Human Resources Department of Anhui Tendering Group Co., Ltd., Ouyang Jianfeng, Director of Human Resources of Anhui EDE Manpower Technology Co., Ltd., Wang Shuming, Director of Party Committee’s Organization Department and Human Resources Department of East China Engineering Science and Technology Co., Ltd., Wang Xicheng, Vice Director of Party Building and Human Resources Department of Hefei Swan Refrigeration Technology Co., Ltd., Wei Yalong, General Manager of Anhui Healthink Technology Co., Ltd., Wu Haiyan, Director of Human Resources Department of Ultra-High Voltage Branch of State Grid Anhui Electric Power Co., Ltd., Xing Xiaoming, Director of Human Resources Department of the 43 RD Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, and Zhu Yangdong, Director of Human Resources of Yuemeng Tech of iFlytek Co., Ltd. Fu Chao, Vice Dean of the School of Management, Xu Qifa, Zhang Qiang, Zhang Xin, Feng Nanping, Peng Zhanglin, Xue Min, Zhao Nenggui, Zhao Shuangyao, Wang Anning, and other teachers from the Department of Business Administration attended the seminar.

Fu Chao, on behalf of the School of Management, delivered a welcome speech, thanking the experts for their support in the talent cultivation work of the Department of Business Administration. He emphasized the importance of talent cultivation in the daily work of higher education institutions and fully affirmed the preparation work for the revision of the talent cultivation plans of the Department of Business Administration.

Zhang Qiang gave a report on the work of talent cultivation plans. Firstly, the historical evolution, milestone events, composition of professional faculty, and various scientific and research awards of Business Administration and Marketing Management were introduced. Secondly, the construction of the 2019 version of the talent cultivation plans was introduced in details, focusing on cultivating concepts, cultivating objectives, graduation requirements, and curriculum arrangements. Finally, the new version of the talent cultivation plans was introduced, including the cultivating concept, objectives, system, and plan.

After the report, the attending experts spoke one by one and put forward multiple constructive opinions on the concept, curriculum construction, and planning of talent cultivation, internship and employment, and other aspects of Business Administration and Marketing Management. The experts and teachers had a warm exchange and positive response.

The seminar has established a platform for mutual communication and learning between teachers at the School and experts from the business community, and has played a positive role in promoting the revision and construction of the new version of talent cultivation plans.
