On July 8, 2022, the business case of "JX Group: Private Eldercare Expansion in China", whose development was led by Professor Chen Xianhuan from the School of Management at Hefei University of Technology, was officially accepted by Ivey Publishing, the global business case library leader. Ivey Publishing is a symbol of high quality standards of the global business case center, which, together with Harvard Business Publishing Education, is known as the "two major international business case centers". The successful selection of the case whose development is led by Professor Chen Xianhuan into the Ivey Publishing marks a new breakthrough in the construction of the School's case studies.
In recent years, the School of Management has continuously organized teachers and students to go to enterprises and conduct case studies that combine theory and practice, resulting in a batch of innovative, practical, and targeted high-level business cases. As of July 2022, the faculty and students of the School have actively engaged in case development, and 7 cases have been selected into the China Top 100 Excellent Business Cases, 38 cases into the China Management Case-sharing Center, 8 cases into the China Professional-degree Case Center, 1 case into the China Business Case Center, and 68 cases into the Hefei University of Technology Case Center.
Since 2018, the School of Management has held an MBA / MPA Case Writing and Analysis Competition for 5 consecutive years, with a total of 3356 students participating. The School has achieved the goal of "promoting education through competitions, learning through competitions, and constructing through competitions", further reflecting its talent cultivation and scientific research characteristics of "from management practice to management practice". It has also made contributions to accelerating the construction of first-class disciplines and creating a new situation for top-notch talent cultivation.
