Since April of this year, the Department of Business Administration of the School of Management has held multiple seminars to share ideological and political education experience in curriculum.
On the afternoon of April 13th, Associate Professor Luo Xuan held an offline lecture and exchange on the theme of " Sharing of Ideological and Political Education in the Undergraduate Course of‘Business Communication and Negotiation’"with teachers from the Department of Business Administration in Conference Room 1202 of No. 1 Building of the School of Management. She carefully explained to the present teachers how to combine curriculum teaching with ideological and political education from two aspects: "curriculum introduction" and "curriculum organization", so that students could better understand "communication" from the perspectives of individuals, managers, and organizations. She emphasized that the ideological and political education in curriculum should focus on fostering virtue through education, and commits to cultivating high-level professional talents with high ideals, deep thinking, and warm expression.
On the afternoon of April 27th, Dai Bao, a teacher of the School, gave an offline lecture on ideological and political education in curriculum for teachers of the department in Conference Room 1202 of No. 1 Building of the School, which was entitled "Sharing of Ideological and Political Education Experience in the Course of ‘Organizational Behavior’". He believed that the purpose of ideological and political education in curriculum was to establish the three values and four beliefs, and proposed that ideological and political education in curriculum should be clever in integration, and interesting and moderate in content. At the same time, it should be implemented from four aspects: sorting out curriculum knowledge points, designing ideological and political education elements, collecting ideological and political education materials, and continuously updating and accumulating ideological and political education. In addition, he also took the course of "Organizational Behavior" as an example, combined with his own experience and insights in the ideological and political education construction in professional courses, to propose corresponding ideological and political education knowledge points and elements for each chapter of the course, and gave a vivid and detailed introduction. His enthusiastic sharing deeply inspired the teachers present, and many teachers participated in the subsequent discussion and exchange.
On the afternoon of May 18th, in Conference Room 1202 of No. 1 Building of the School, Associate Professor Liu Bohai shared a case of ideological and political education in curriculum, which was entitled "Some Reflections on Curriculum Teaching". Firstly, Mr. Liu shared his growth as a teacher, and then his ideological and political design ideas in curriculum teaching from the five process links: "pre-class preparation", "first period of class", "intermediate course", "course completion", and "after-class". He emphasized how to effectively integrate the ideological and political education into the entire teaching process of pre-class introduction, and in-class & after-class teaching, and how to timely reflect and improve course teaching, thus achieving the goal of high-quality education in curriculum teaching.
The implementation of a series of exchange activities not only deepened teachers' cognition and understanding of the concepts and models of ideological and political education in curriculum, but also played a leading and exemplary role in effectively implementing ideological and political education, and promoting the continuous and in-depth development of ideological and political education in the department. In the future, the department will continue to carry out various special activities on ideological and political education construction in curriculum, promote its reform, pay attention to the needs and expectations of students' growth and development, and continuously improve the quality of talent cultivation.
