On the afternoon of June 27th, Guo Zhiyong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, Zhang Qiang, Dean of the School of Management, and more than 20 teachers, along with 80 students of Grade 2021 majoring in Business Administration, and Marketing Management, visited Gotion High-tech Co., Ltd. and exchanged ideas with each other. The Management Art Class of Gotion Lecture Series was successfully held at the Global Lecture Hall in Baohe District, Hefei. Director Xu, Vice President of Gotion High-tech Engineering Research Institute, was present in person and delivered a speech. Dr. Song, Assistant to the Chairman of Gotion High-tech and Director of the Science and Technology Management Center of Gotion High-tech, and others participated throughout the entire process.
At the exchange meeting, Dr. Song welcomed the delegation from the School of Management to visit and exchange ideas. She pointed out that Hefei University of Technology had trained numerous excellent students, and its outstanding alumni spread throughout the country and dedicated to various industries. She hoped that the School would continue to play a role in scientific research and talent cultivation, provide talent support for Gotion High-tech, and assist in promoting its digital construction.
Dean Zhang Qiang stated that the School of Management of HFUT had always maintained friendly cooperation with Gotion High-tech, and the school teachers had been looking forward to this trip to Gotion for a long time, and hoped that both parties could gain and grow from the exchange of the Management Art Class.
After the speeches of the leaders from both parties, Mr. Luo Xuan, Mr. Liu Bohai, and Mr. Feng Nanping from the Department of Business Administration of the School delivered theme reports on "Enterprise Strategic Transformation in the New Era", "Intelligent Manufacturing Assists Cost Reduction and Efficiency Enhancement", and "Integrated Product Development (IPD) Model and Its Application". Dr. Xu, Director of the Digital Engineering Branch of Gotion High-tech Engineering Research Institute, also shared the theme report on "Gotion Digital Construction Route" enthusiastically. During the exchange session, the teachers and students of the School actively exchanged and discussed topics related to enterprise strategic development, intelligent manufacturing, and digital application development with staff members from Gotion High-tech Engineering Research Institute in a warm atmosphere. Director Xu kindly answered the questions about industry focus, Dr. Song answered questions about Gotion talent development, and Dr. Xu clearly solved the confusion about enterprise digital application.
The special investigation activity on "Enterprise Digital Transformation Practice" was an important part of the in-depth thematic education carried out by the Department of Business Administration, and also a positive attempt and exploration to promote the cooperation model between schools and enterprises. Through this activity, the teachers and students of the School not only gained an understanding of the current situation of digital transformation of Gotion High-tech and the cutting-edge knowledge of the disciplinary development of Business Administration, but also deepened their understanding of how Chinese manufacturing enterprises promote their high-quality development through digitization, differentiation, and branding. After the activity, the teachers and students expressed that they gained a lot.
