Academician Yang Shanlin compared and introduced the approval status of the School's funded programs based on the overall funding situation of the Management Department of the NSFC in 2021, with a focus on interpreting the reform measures of the NSFC in 2022. For the fund application work in 2022, Yang Shanlin emphasized adhering to scientific research integrity, leveraging disciplinary advantages, refining scientific issues, and forming some basic research and interdisciplinary directions with disciplinary characteristics. He encouraged young teachers to improve their research abilities and levels, and actively apply for youth and general programs of NSFC. He also talked about strengthening the cultivation of key and major programs of NSFC to create a platform for rapid growth for teachers.
