From April 21 to 23, 2021, the 5th Training Class for Major Directors and Key Teachers, hosted by the Teaching Guidance Committee for E-Business Majors in Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as the E-Business Teaching Guidance Committee), organized by Hefei University of Technology, Anhui University, and the Training Group of the E-Business Teaching Guidance Committee, and co-organized by Hefei Yamooc Information Technology Co., Ltd., was held in Hefei, Anhui Province. More than 80 major directors and key teachers from the E-Businesss Majors selected as the National First-class Undergraduate Majors Construction Sites participated in the training.
Professor Chen Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hefei University of Technology, Professor Qian Jiasheng, Vice President of Anhui University, Professor Peng Lifang, Deputy Director of the E-Business Teaching Guidance Committee, Professor Liu Lanjuan, Professor He Shengyu, Professor Zhang Jianlin, Professor Li Qi, and others attended the class opening ceremony. Professor Chen Gang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Hefei University of Technology, and Professor Qian Jiasheng, Vice President of Anhui University, respectively delivered speeches on behalf of the organizing units at the class opening ceremony, which was presided over by Professor Liu Yezheng from Hefei University of Technology, a member of the E-Business Teaching Guidance Committee.
After the class opening ceremony, Professor Liu Lanjuan from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Professor Yao Weixin from Donghua University, Professor Shen Yang from Hohai University, and Professor Guo Jiansheng from Donghua University respectively delivered reports of "Basic Knowledge of Professional Certification and the Construction of China's E-Business Professional Certification Standards", "Interpretation of E-Business Certification Standards", "Writing Methods of Self-evaluation Report and Preparation of Supporting Materials", and "Methods and Procedures for Experts’ On-campus Examination". The members of the E-Business Teaching Guidance Committee, E-Business major directors, and key teachers who participated in the training conducted group discussion on the relevant issues of first-class majors certification. Each group leader reported on the common issues of concern to various universities during the discussion. Professor Liu Lanjuan, on behalf of the E-Business Teaching Guidance Committee Certification Group, provided answers to the common issues. Three pre-certified universities, including Hefei University of Technology, Zhejiang Normal University, and Minjiang University, respectively shared their experiences.
At the completion ceremony, Professor Liu Jun, Director of the E-Business Teaching Guidance Committee and President of Beijing Wuzi University, delivered a concluding speech. He emphasized the importance of the first-class major certification for the development of E-Business majors, explained and deployed subsequent certification work, and expressed gratitude to the organizers for their work. Finally, the attending experts awarded the completion certificates to the trainees of the training class.
