Personal Introduction
Dr. DING Shuai, born in May 1984, is currently a professor in the School of Management, Hefei University of Technology. He is the deputy director of the school academic committee and has been selected as a memeber of the national young talent program. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Pittsburgh, USA. He is mainly engaged in research on big data and intelligent decision-making, intelligent medical and health management. He has presided over the Major Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Major Research Plan Cultivation Project, general project and youth project, the Science and Technology Commission's Innovation Special Zone Project of the Central Military Commission, the New Generation Artificial Intelligence Industry Innovation Key Task Unveiling Project of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Major Special Project, and many horizontal projects entrusted by governments and enterprises. He has been awarded the first prize of Anhui Science and Technology Award in 2018, the first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education in 2019, the first prize of Anhui Procincial Science and Technology Award in 2021, and the 23rd Anhui Youth May Fourth Medal. He has authorized 26 national invention patents and 5 U.S. invention patents. He has published more than 50 papers in international authoritative journals in the field of big data, such as TKDE, TKDD, Journal of Management Sciences in China and Journal of Management World. His main academic positions include: Deputy Secretary-General of the Service Systems Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Systems Engineering, and Deputy Director of the Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence and Change Management of the Chinese Society of Information Economics.
