Personal Introduction
Dr. FU Chao, male, born in March 1978, is currently a professor and Deputy Dean of the School of Management, Hefei University of Technology. He once presided over the Excellent Young Scientists Fund Project of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and was a visiting scholar at the University of South Carolina and the City University of Hong Kong.
He is mainly engaged in basic and applied research on uncertainty decision-making analysis, data-driven decision-making analysis, and data-driven medical-aided diagnosis. He is the executive director of the Management and Decision-making Science Committee of the China Society for Management Modernization, the executive director of the Computer Simulation Branch of the China Society for Preferential Methodology and Economic Mathematics, the member of the Youth Working Committee of the China Society for Preferential Methodology and Economic Mathematics, and the member of the Management Systems Engineering Branch Committee of the Management Science and Engineering Society. He has presided over the Excellent Young Scientists Fund Project, the General Project and the Youth Project of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and has participated in four projects as a key member of the NSFC Basic Science Center, the Innovative Research Group Project and the NSFC Major Project. He has been awarded one first prize of Science and Technology Award of Anhui Province, one first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education, one second prize of Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education, two special prizes of Teaching Achievements Award of Anhui Province, two first prizes of Teaching Achievements Award of Anhui Province, one Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award of Anhui Province, and one first prize of the Eighth Natural Science Excellent Academic Paper Award of Anhui Province. He has published more than 70 academic papers in SCIENCE CHINA Information Sciences, IEEE TSMC, IEEE TFS, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Instrumentation, Systems Engineering Theory and Practice, and other important journals at home and abroad.
