Abstract:
This study focuses on a thorough examination of the adoption of ERM(Enterprise Risk Management)in publicly traded firms so that the real effects of ERM on these firms can be further studied. We propose a business analytics approach to identifying the adoption of ERM by publicly traded firms in their annual financial disclosures, including the 10-K, DEF-14A and PRE-14A filings.
