The Chinese journalFrontiers of Science and Technology of Engineering Management, proposed by the Engineering Management Department of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was officially launched on January 27, 2022, with strong support from the Ministry of Education, the National Press and Publication Administration, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Hefei University of Technology.
Frontiers of Science and Technology of Engineering Managementis an academic journal in the field of engineering technology and engineering management, which is publicly published and distributed domestically and internationally. It is renamed from the former journalPrediction, and is administrated by the Ministry of Education, supervised by the Engineering Management Department of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and sponsored by Hefei University of Technology. The Chief Editor of the journal is Academician Hu Wenrui, Director of the Engineering Management Department of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the Executive Editor is Academician Yang Shanlin of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The editorial board consists of nationally renowned experts of engineering technology and engineering management, including all non-senior academicians and some senior academicians of the Engineering Management Department of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. A group of well-known domestic experts engaged in engineering construction and management research have been invited to form a special communication expert team. The journal aims to promote academic exchanges between domestic and foreign scientists of engineering technology and engineering management, and provide a high-level and high-end exchange platform for sharing new discoveries for the academic and industrial communities at home and abroad. It is an A-level important journal of the Management Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a Chinese Social Science Citation Index (CSSCI) journal, a Core Journal of Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences, a Chinese Core Journal, a Chinese Science and Technology Core Journal, and RCCSE China Core Academic Journal (A).
The purpose of the journal is to “uphold the scientific spirit of ‘seeking truth, reality, knowledge, and verification’, to publish the latest research results on engineering management theories, methods, and applications in the development of economy, society, and technology at home and abroad, to provide scientific support for improving the level of major engineering management in China, to promote international exchanges and cooperation in related fields, and to contribute to establishing China's leading position in the field of engineering management technology”. The journal is committed to the practice of engineering, major engineering, and super engineering construction, as well as the exploration of engineering philosophy, engineering management, engineering technology, engineering management theory, and engineering management methods. It strives to become a forward-looking and cutting-edge Chinese academic journal with international influence in the field of engineering management and engineering technology. The journal includes such columns as research papers, thematic papers, cutting-edge science and technology, super engineering and engineering homes, and youth voices, adhering to the characteristics of "cutting-edge thinking, innovative theory, applicable methods, and scientific practice", demonstrating and leading the development of engineering management and engineering technology in China, and helping to enhance the value of engineering management and engineering technology in China.
