Personal Introduction

Dr. HE Jianmin, born in Tongcheng, Anhui Province, is a professor in the School of Management, Hefei University of Technology, and was awarded Teaching Master of Anhui Province. From 1984 to 1998, he has been engaged in R&D and technical management of computer system software and application software in enterprises, institutions and government offices after he graduated with a bachelor's degree, and has served as department manager, deputy general manager, deputy chief engineer, etc. He was transferred to Hefei University of Technology in March 1999 to engage in teaching and scientific research in the School of Management of HFUT, and during the period, he was admitted to HFUT in-service postgraduate study and obtained his doctoral degree in management. He has served as the director of the Department of Electronic Commerce, secretary of the Party Branch of Electronic Commerce Department, and member of the Party Committee of the School of Management. He has supervised academic (general master) postgraduate students and professional (MBA/MPA and Master of Engineering) postgraduate students . His professor's office is located at Room No. 0706, 7th floor of the Engineering Management and Intelligent Manufacturing Research Center in the new building of the School of Management, Tunxi Road Campus of Hefei University of Technology (the backside of the Tunxi Road Campus stadium podium).

He has presided over more than 40 scientific research projects at the national, provincial (or ministrial) and municipal levels, and won two prizes of National Teaching Achievement Award, three special prizes of Anhui Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, one first prize and three second prizes of Anhui Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, one second prize of Anhui Provincial Multimedia Education Achievement Award, one second prize of Anhui Provincial Social Science Literature and Art (Book) Award, and one third prize of Anhui Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. He has been awarded the "Excellent Instructor Award" for the "Internet+" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition in China and Anhui Province, and for the E-commerce "Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship" Challenge for College Students in China and Anhui Province,  the "Top Ten Excellent Teachers" of Anhui Collegiate MBA Education Union, and the  3rd and 4th Anhui Provincial "Excellent Master's Thesis Instructor Award". In 2016, he was awarded the title of "Provincial Teaching Master" in Anhui Province, and in the same year, he was awarded the titles of "Excellent Communist Party Member" of Anhui Universities, "Advanced Individual of Teacher Virtue" of Hefei University of Technology, and "Moral Education and Talent Cultivation Award" of Hefei University of Technology. He is responsible for teaching a national top-quality video open course,  "Network Creative Marketing", which is broadcasted on "iCourse", "Netease Open Class", "China Open Class - CCTV" and other Chinese college video open course websites. 

In recent years, he has published and presented more than 30 papers in core academic journals  at home and abroad and at international academic conferences, and edited and published three national higher education planning textbooks (Introduction to E-Commerce, Internet Marketing, and Information Management) for the 10th, 11th and 12th Five-Year Plans, two provincial higher education planning textbooks (Introduction to E-Commerce,and Internet Marketing) for Anhui Province, and 4 general textbooks for general higher education. He was born in a family of teachers, and he has always remembered his parents' motto of "building the motherland and loving the people" for life, for which he was named after. He has been working hard and striving for excellence in his study, work and life, and he is dedicated and committed to his work with great efforts, never regretting. He is a person of integrity and open-mindedness, who is good to others, confident and optimistic, and happy with what he has.
