报告简介:
In the present work, rolled tungsten in different orientations in accordance with the ITER specifications exposed by multiple irradiations of a negative hydrogen ion beam (3 MeV, 5 Hz, 25,920 s) have been examined to investigate the modification by the repeated short pulse heat loading such as ELMs in the fusion reactor. During the irradiation, the surface temperature has been measured using high response pyrometers. After the irradiations, the surface modification has been observed using an optical microscope and FE-SEM. In addition, microstructure of the cross section of the irradiated tungsten have been also investigated using FE-SEM-EBSD. Crack formation is different depending on the orientation of rolling direction. Cross sectional observation reveals the crack path along high angle grain boundaries and transgranular fracture pattern. Surface roughening and protuberance in the center area surrounded by the cracks are also observed.
