Personal Introduction

Dr. SUN Jianshan, is an associate professor and doctoral supervisor in Hefei University of Technology. He obtained two doctor's degrees respectively in Information System from City University of Hong Kong and in Management Science from University of Science and Technology of China in June 2014.

In recent years, he has been engaged in the research of business intelligence and big data analysis, e-commerce and personalized recommendation, social network analysis, etc. He has presided over many projects, including the General Project of NSFC, the Youth Project of NSFC,  the Youth Project of Anhui Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the Soft Science Project of Hefei City, the Academic Newcomer Enhancement Program of Hefei University of Technology, etc. He has published more than 60 academic papers in Tourism Management, IEEE TKDE, ACM TOIS, DSS, JASIST, IPM, IJPE, Management World, Systems Engineering--Theory and Practice, and other important academic journals and conferences at home and abroad, Among them, more than 40 papers have been published in SCI/SSCI journals.

Currently, he is also the Branch Chair of 49th-52nd Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS, 2016-2020)-minitrack: Decision Support for Smart Cities, a program committee member of 2016-2019 IEEE Data Science in Cyberspace, and the program committee chair of 2016-2019 IEEE DSC- Big Data and Business Analytics Workshop. He has served as a guest editor-in-chief of British Journal of Educational Technology, Internet Research, IEEE ACCESS, etc. and as a peer reviewer for Decision Support Systems, Information Retrieval, Journal of Network and Computer Applications, Information Processing & Management, and other internationally recognized journals.
