Personal Introduction
Dr. ZHANG Qiang is the Dean of the school of Management,a professor and doctoral supervisor of Hefei University of Technology, and a member of the National Talent Program. He is mainly engaged in scientific research and teaching in the field of intelligent manufacturing engineering management for high-end equipment.
He has presided over 14 projects, including the General Project and the Youth Project of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Key Special Project of the National Key Research and Development Program of the 14th Five-year Plan, the Major Special Science and Technology Project of Anhui Province, the Major Technology Project of Aero Engine Corporation of China, etc. He has published more than 30 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals such as IEEE Series, Information Fusion, Information Science, KBS, IJPR, TR Part A, Management World, Journal of Management Sciences in China, Chinese Journal of Management Science, etc. Among them, 25 papers have been published as first author or corresponding author. He has been granted 25 national invention patents, 3 US PCT patents, and 12 registered software copyrights. He has also been awarded 1 First Prize of Anhui Province Science and Technology Progress Award (ranked 1st), 1 First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China Association of Machinery Manufacturing Technology (ranked 2nd), 1 First Prize of Scientific Research Excellent Achievement Award for Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education (Science and Technology ) (ranked 15th), and 1 Second Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China Machinery Industry Federation (ranked 2nd). Focusing on the first-class scientific research, transforming teaching based on the first-class scientific research results, he has formed a whole process of "moral education as the priority, ability as the basis, practice as the path" for the cultivation of innovative and top-notch talents in engineering management. He has been awarded 2 Special Prizes (ranked 2nd and 4th) and 2 First Prizes (ranked 1st and 5th) of Anhui Province Teaching Achievement Award, Anhui Province New Talent in Education, Third Prize of Anhui Provincial Young Teachers' Basic Teaching Skill Competition, and First Prize of HFUT Young Teachers' Basic Teaching Skill Competition. As an instructor, he has guided students to win three national third prizes, one provincial special prize and two gold prizes in national top-level science and technology competitions for college students, such as the "Internet+", "Challenge Cup" and "Youth Creation" competitions. His team has maintained long-term communication and cooperation with high-end manufacturing enterprises, such as Aero Engine Corporation of China, Weichai Holding Group Co., Ltd., Gotion Hi-Tech, Chery Automobile Co., Hefei Metal Forming Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. etc.
