Academic publishing can feel like a “black box,” especially for early-career researchers. Drawing on my experience as an author, reviewer, and editor, this talk demystifies the hidden norms of submission, review, and editorial decisions. I’ll focus on articulating a clear claim of significance—because without it, reviewers and editors will ask “so what?”—and share practical strategies to avoid that fatal response.
报告人简介：
Barry Lee Reynolds澳门大学教育学院副教授，博士生导师，教育学本科项目主任。研究兴趣为一语/二语词汇习得、技术辅助语言学习、数字游戏化语言学习、眼动研究等。主编学术专著8本，在Applied Linguistics，Computers & Education，CALL等国际权威期刊发表高水平论文138篇。现任TESOL Communications期刊主编，并担任English Teaching & Learning等多家学术期刊编委，获Publons同行评审奖（全球社科领域前1%）。
