报告简介:
DNA-functionalized nanomaterial is an important cornerstone for bionanotechnology showing tremendous growth in the past few decades. Owing to the programmability, high stability, and ligand-binding properties of DNA, such hybrid materials have been used in biosensing, drug delivery, and directed-assembly of materials. Understanding the adsorption behaviour and precisely controlling the conformation, density, and activity of DNA on nanosurfaces is crucial for these applications. This talk will cover two aspects of our recent works on biointerface. 1) Electrolytes, and freezing are used to control the conjugation of DNA on gold nanoparticles; 2) The adsorption of DNA on various nanosurface (e.g. carbon, metal oxides) were explored to achieve tunable binding for better analytical applications.
